All of our equipment is portable – most crucially the ideas and the brains. We are not restricted by the walls of our premises.

The emerging 21st globalised supply chain extends information and physical objects in complex and often confusing patterns.

Looking back at the 20th century's mode of living and trade, we think the established behaviour patterns are provably destructive and should be subjected to intense examination and criticism.

We design looking forwards to a future which is not dictated by the strictures of false mass economies and one-size thinking which in reality fits nobody.

Our facilities are made possible by the abstraction of information into today's microscopic and weightless data formats, a process which unites the work of most contemporary technical disciplines through the medium of mathematical precision.

Our London HQ serves as our static base where our physical prototypes and mass data are warehoused, offering a technologically advanced, comfortable and informal meeting and visualisation space combined with multidisciplinary sketching and design facilities.

Most of our personnel are busy specialists in multiple fields, who work for a number of other companies, facilities and institutions in addition to contributing to ongoing F&CP studio projects.

The studio employs an informal and asynchronous model which gives contributors the free time to explore their own interests and projects, gaining valuable experiences which feed the studio practise.

We encourage our collaborators to work in both dedicated design premises and in the premises of either production suppliers or studio clients, observing the processes as closely and personally as possible.

Engaging studio practitioners on-demand allows us to scale our operations from casual to intensive, subject to the demands of each project.
